Awards:

∙The Gerald B. Roemer Community Service Award to Dan Furmansky of Equality Maryland for his contributions to the Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender Community, particularly his leadership in bringing the Maryland Marriage Equality lawsuit; and

∙The James R. Douglass Award to lead plaintiffs Gita Deane and Lisa Polyak and their attorneys: Andy Baida, Ken Choe, David Rocah, Caroline Ciraolo, James Esseks and Art Spitzer, for their courage and success in making the legal landscape more hospitable for all GLBT people.
